Attendance of hearings

As a rule, hearings before the Federal Criminal Court are open to the public, with the exception of deliberations. The hearings are open to everyone; however, individuals under the age of sixteen must obtain permission from the presiding judge to attend. There are a limited number of places for the general public in the courtroom.

If you wish to attend a hearing, please arrive at the court reception desk at 7 Viale Stefano Franscini in Bellinzona at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the hearings to undergo a security check.
You must bring an identification card with you.

Appropriate clothing is required for access to the Tribunal.

It is not permitted to make video or audio recordings within the court building.
